Peer Review has been the cornerstone of the accounting profession's self-regulatory program since 1977. It is a periodic outside review of a firm's quality control system in accounting and auditing.

Also known as a practice monitoring program, it's done to ensure that firms provide high quality services to their clients.

Peer Review is a statutory requirement for Pennsylvania firms, and it is also a condition of membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Milligan has successfully completed the firm's sixth professionally mandated Peer Review without any Letter of Comments.  While most firms pass the review, few do so without some deficiencies being cited in a formal “Letter of Comment.”

We are proud to achieve this distinction for the sixth time.
